Information:This Wild Sage was hand picked in the wilds of Montana, on the eastern slope of the continental divide. Special care was taken to ensure the harvest only the best Sage, less than 25% was harvested out of any 100 meter square area. This ensures that a healthy crop of Wild Sage will be provided for you.
History:Wild Sage is another herb that has a long history of medicinal use among the Native American Indians. Tribes that used Wild Sage include the Cheyenne, Dakota, Omaha, Pawnee, Delaware, Blackfoot, Arapaho, Comanche, Cree, Navajo, Ute, Lakota, Creek, Tewa, Kiowa, and Apache. This plant in among the four sacred herbs used in ceremonies and healing by natives. The smoke from burning Wild Sage was also used to cleanse an area by driving away bad spirits, bad dreams, sickness and evil away.
Uses: Stomach ailments, wound care, eczema, mucous and congestion, and headache.
